WHO ARE THESE CRAZY PEOPLE!!

Florida Update

We had a Cardona "girls night out" last Saturday and had a nice time. We went to dinner at Kobe's Japanese Steakhouse and then went to SAK Comedy Club. The show was great! It's an Improv show that has six comedians. They put the comedians on teams of three and assigned three audience judges to rate their performance for each comedy segment. It was hilarious! The next time you come to visit we'll have to go.

Nothing much going on this week. It's hump day though and we're getting close to the weekend. And since I'm off next week I'm pretty excited about that! We're planning our Survivor theme relay events for July 4th, since we had to postpone them on Father's Day (Thank you Addison!). It's going to be loads of fun. We've got all kinds of games set up. I'll be sure to film them and post them on the Blog. Make sure someone does the same for the July 4th picnic at Stevie and Katie's too.

Well, here's just a couple pic updates on Addison.

I just love her little feet!

Pictures from Saturday!!!

I feel bad putting a post up after pretty little Addison's picture, but I'm sure we'll have more!! We'd better. However, while Angela was hosing down the Walmart on Saturday, here's some pictures of what the Northeast Corridor family was doing:

That is all one big weed train. Pauly actually pulled up one almost twice as long. Gross.

This is actually one of the times that Pauly was NOT joy-riding. He was in charge of dumping all the weeds & grass in the woods in the back. He did a great job!

This is the necklace that Stevie bought Katie for her birthday (which is tomorrow, by the way!!)

And while we were working VERY hard in the "Florida-esque" sun & heat, Grandmom & Aunt Kathy were sauntering around the mall. Grandmom bought the "Very sexy, infinity edge push up bra" from Victoria's Secret. That Katie has no shame!!!

And this is Bailey's huge head. Remember - she's still a puppy!!!
We have such a great family!!!

Addison Jennifer Key Arrives!

Hi everyone. We have just gotton back from the hospital and took lots of pictures of Addison to share with you guys! She is absolutely beautiful...even if I say so myself. She was born at 3:41am this morning. She weighed in at 6lbs 14oz and is 20 inches long. We got to spend lots of time hugging on her today and I even got to feed her before we left this evening.

Valerie - here are some pics to add to you library!

What a hardworking team!

Hi Everybody,
Here we are in the middle of Rome - working, working, working! From left to right is Sr. Relida, from Papua New Guinea, Sr. Marife, from the Philippines, moi and Gerardine. Besides our Cor Novum team (I'll send a photo of that team another time), I'm also on this team which is special for our congregation alone. We plan for all the initial and on-going formation programs in the congregation, make up useful materials for provinces and sometimes go as a team (with the help of Cor Novum) to give programs in other parts of the world. This time around we've perfected an assessment guide for use by vocation directors when they are interviewing prospective members as well as an evaluation tool for province formation programs. We've also planned programs for formators and our religious congregational leaders in South Africa and the Philippines for 2008/2009 so maybe I'll get to go to South Africa again after all!
Of course we did manage to go out for pizza one night and had a movie night twice. All work and no play makes for pretty boring people.
Lots of love to everyone. For Angela's baby I vote for July 4th, 6lbs 2oz.
I'm so proud of myself that I got the photo on!
Linda

To Know Us Is To Love Us

TODAY'S PICTURE SHOW:

This is obviously why his name is Angel - he looks like a stud sent from heaven....

Dayna obviously started the Grunge look of the 90's way before the 90's rolled around. Such a trend setter. In case you wondered, that is tiny little Stevie with his butt to us.

"I didn't do it!" - UQ up to no good??

You can just FEEL the attitude on Jen in this one. Looks like she's going to kick someone's tail!!

Grandpop - at my christening. Obviously being four months old I don't remember it, but I like to think I do....

Hope you enjoyed the show!!!

Memorial Day Highlights.

Some pictures from Memorial Day weekend. First picture was taken about 10-15 minutes before our "prank" phone call to Aunt Maureen & Uncle Dave.

Here's a hottie action shot of UQ in our cut-throat family volleyball game. UQ definitely stole the show with his full court coverage and ace serves.

Ted was in rare form on Memorial Day - he showed up to Stevie & Katie's with clumps of hair taped to his arm pits. We're still not sure what was going on. Allie was a big help in the kitchen, finalizing the vegetable ka-bobs.

All in all - a great time. Aunt Donna walked away with about a $10 profit from poker, but that was before I showed to the table to run things. I had a $27 dollar profit! Yes!!! Don't mess.

For Those of Us Over 40!!

I wish this weren't so but
Recently, I was diagnosed with A. A. A. D. D .

Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder
This is how it manifests:

I decide to water my lawn. As I turn on the hose inthe driveway, I look over at my car and decide my car needs washing. As I start toward the garage, I notice that there ismail on the porch table that I brought up from themail box earlier. I decide to go through the mailbefore I wash the car.I lay my car keys down on the table, put the junkmail in the garbage can under the table, and noticethat the can is full, so, I decide to put the billsback on the table and take out the garbage first. But then I think, since I'm going to be near themailbox when I take out the garbage anyway, I may aswell pay the bills first.I take my check book off the table, and see thatthere is only one check left.My extra checks are in my desk in the study, so I goinside the house to my desk where I find the can of Coke that I had been drinking. I'm going to look for my checks, but first I need topush the Coke aside so that I don't accidentallyknock it over. I see that the Coke is getting warm, and I decide I should put it in the refrigerator tokeep it cold. As I head toward the kitchen with the Coke a vase offlowers on the counter catches my eye. They need tobe watered.I set the Coke down on the counter, and I discovermy reading glasses that I've been searching for allmorning. I decide I better put them back on my desk, butfirst I'm going to water the flowers. I set the glasses back down on the counter, fill acontainer with water and suddenly I spot the TVremote. Someone left it on the kitchen table. I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV, Iwill be looking for the remote, but I won't rememberthat it's on the kitchen table, so I decide to putit back in the living room where it belongs, butfirst I'll water the flowers. I pour some water in the flowers, but quite a bit ofit spills on the floor. So, I set the remote back down on the table, getsome towels and wipe up the spill. Then I head down the hall trying to remember what Iwas planning to do.At the end of the day:the lawn isn't watered, the car isn't washed, the bills aren't paid, there is a warm can of Coke sitting on the counter, the flowers don't have enough water, there is still only one check in my check book, I can't find the remote, I can't find my glasses, I don't remember what I did with the car keys, and my neighbor called to tell me he turned off the hose that was flooding the driveway. Then when I try to figure out why nothing got done today, I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all day long, and I'm really tired. I realize this is a serious problem, and I'll try to get some help for it, but first I'll check my e-mail. Do me a favor, will you? Forward this message to everyone you know, because I don't remember to whom it has been sent.

I know those of us over 40 are rolling on the floor by now and for you kids out there...
your day is coming!

GROWING OLDER IS MANDATORY. > GROWING UP IS OPTIONAL.> LAUGHING AT YOURSELF IS THERAPEUTIC.

Game Night

As some of you may know, the Cardonas have a monthly game night that is usually held at my parents house. Well, Mike and I made a few minor additions to the house and this month it will be held at my house! Last month Mike and I got our very own pool table. We were so tired of spending $8.00 per hour of pool at our redneck bar Benchwarmers, so we brought the party to our house.

Another new addition is our Wii. If you haven't had a chance to play the Wii, you don't know what your missing. Just ask my mom...she was sore for the next 2 days after playing.

I hope the Browns can compete with infamous game nights my parents hold :) I will post pictures and let you know how it goes.

Anybody want to fly down for game night ;)

IT'S FRIDAY!!!

Happy Friday everyone. Donna, I've just joined your happy hour! Tell everyone there I say hi! Hope everyone had a good week and you're ready for a great weekend. Here is the sunny state (well, not so sunny today) we're going to have rain most of the weekend. We've got our first tropical storm for the season sitting in the Gulf. That's not bad though since it should put out all of the fires!!

Well, Angela's getting closer and closer to her due date. Stay tuned, I'm going to list a pool for her due date, baby weight and length. The sex is a gimmi!! Jenn said it would be boring to do it just for fun and said we definitely need to put some money down. So I'm thinking $1 per category. (Linda - I've got you covered! Just send your guesses). We'll have a winner for each. I'll post more about that later. I've got Angela sending me a picture for all to view to make their guesses.

Well more later!
