Pictures from the Past.....Here's to you Florida!!!

OK. Here's what happened. A few of us were over at Grandmoms and Aunt Mare's house helping getting ready for the move and A.Donna and A.Kathy told me to post these pictures on the blog just for you.......I thought it would be fun too.

Here's Aunt Maureen riding a horse back in 1977.

I think this is my favorite picture of the bunch!!!! Gotta love Uncle Dave's gear! (No date on this picture)

Greetings from Reno, NV

Right now I'm in Reno, NV for work. Got here Saturday afternoon and I leave tomorrow morning. Yesterday I was able to get to Lake Tahoe to see how pretty it is!! We actually drove into South Lake Tahoe, CA. Cold and snowy!!! About 45 minutes after I took these pictures, a blizzard came and you couldn't even see the mountains anymore! Crazy!! The first picture is taken in NV, the second in CA.

News from the Frenchie

Hi Everybody,

Just thought I'd write a few lines since I haven't been contributing lately. Lots of comings and goings at Cor Novum these months. Gerardine and Hans are in Australia (talked to them on the phone this morning and both are surviving the heat). Nick goes in and out between France, Ireland and England to give retreats and sessions and Joannès is even getting ready to voyage to Australia to take Hans' place there for the last two sessions. We're sending Joannès business class (he's 78 and Australia is a long way from France - about a 26 hour flight!). I'm staying put until I go to Germany in July to give a retreat and then to South Africa in August, for several months of sessions there.

Got my wash all done yesterday and since I had a cold I thought I'd dump in a capfull of disinfectant to the wash that Gerardine bought last year forgetting that I was ALLERGIC TO IT. Well I put on a pair of pants this morning and within minutes it felt like had a seat full of red ants. Anyway, off came the pants and now I have to do my laundry all over again. Geeeezzzzz!

What's the feeling like for the elections there. CNN here has coverage every minute on the candidates and the real election is still a year away. New Jersey must have plenty of money because to my great surprise I received an absentee ballot by Special Delivery ($25). Normally I just get one by regular post - maybe they're running late this year. Anyway, I sent back my 2 cents worth and may the best woman win!

Thats all for now. Be good and don't forget to say your prayers.

Much love,
Linda

Surprises are great!

Dave (or is it Greg?) and I came home from work today and found a package on our doorstep. When we opened it we were thrilled to find a scrapbook from Katie, Stevie, Chrissy and Jaimie from their vacation in Florida. YOU GUYS ARE GREAT! We absolutely love the scrapbook and were able to reflect back on the fun we had while you were here. We both hope that you plan to come year after year. I can't wait to show everyone else (including the neighbors)! They're going to love it as well.

We love you all!

This picture definitely reflects the spirit of the entire week!

Pics from the Christmas Party

I didn't scan them all in, but here are a couple good ones. As always - another good time with my family.

Hope all the cousins like their "Cousin Calendars" and Grandmom & the Aunts like theirs!! Where is Aunt Linda's - did someone mail it to her? I think I left it at Aunt Donnas??

Please notice Pauly & Aunt Mare -
think it's genetic???

Hello Everyone

Today, I am taking down all of the decorations from Christmas - boy what a job. Must say that the tree is much easier undecorating then it is decorating. How are all the sickies doing. I know poor mom is back on her antibioctic. Bummer. Brianna started with a really bad sore throat the day after Christmas and she is just starting to feel better. Hoping to send her back to school tomorrow but will see. Hope everyone got what they wished for. I did - I got a ipod touch that is so cool and a new phone (I have had the same one for at least 10 years - it was a brick). The Ipod gives me something to listen to when I am doing the treadmill. What a bore by the way. Walking outside is much nicer but I hate the cold and wind. I had a nice after Christmas surprise too. Yesterday I found out that I was a winner to a $300 shopping spree at my favorit store in Skippack. Southwest trading post held a December drawling and my name was picked. I am going today and hoping a necklass I have been eyeing up is still there. I would have never bought it on my own but this certificate will cover it.

Last week I was taking a beating at work from the Redskin, Steelers and yes we even have a Dallas fan. The Dallas fan was banned from entering the office last week but he had his fun emailing me. The Steelers fan drove up with the steelers logo on his company van. I advised him that he would need to immediatly remove the logo or I was calling in the car as stolen - he new better than to taunt me so he was pretty quiet. The Redskin fan was relentless. He is the worst of all. I was so happy to see the redskins out in the first round. It was a bonus that steelers went the first round too. Next week will be tolerable.

Alright everyone get back to blogging. I want to know how everyone is doing.
